STAR TREK: TNG “ENTERPRISE-D SCHEMATIC LCARS PANEL” FROM "ALL GOOD THINGS…"
A piece of set dressing featured in the finale episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation "All Good Things…". This item is an LCARS ((Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) panel; a rectangular piece of smoked acrylic featuring a graphical application of a cutaway schematic image of the “Enterprise-D” adhered to the reverse that separates it into individual decks, denotes important components such as the main deflector, warp nacelles, and the warp core itself. Various shapes in golden hues and strings of numbers outline the image as well as x-ray-type “scans” certain parts of the ship. There are mounting holes along the edge of the piece and if it weren’t for some careless paint residue along the top due to time and storage this would be the most profound LCARS piece yet unearthed. The item measures approx. 51 X 13.5 inches and has a negligible height.

Notes from someone

Sometime

Yes, the first listing's images were upside down for some reason, but they fixed that in the second listing.

Alright, this panel was not seen in "All Good Things...", don't know where IAW got that from. It's a main engineering panel seen in nearly every episode featuring the set. It was there right from the start, as can be seen on from "The Naked Now". Another good look of the panel from "The Next Phase" can be seen . It's the lower panel, as can be seen. The size and shape matches perfectly (upper two corners are curved, lower two corners not).

Image Image

The panel was removed after "All Good Things" (there might be a production number or the name of the episode somewhere on the back, as the identification was added when the panel was finally removed after 7 years) and was replaced by small monitors for Star Trek Generations, when many LCARS panels were replaced with actual monitors to give the sets a more interactive and "blinking" feeling. That would also explain why this item was kept in storage separately from the rest, and not smashed like the rest of the TNG set.

A similar LCARS graphic is the one that Geordi looks at in Generations, the one where the Duras sisters get the shield frequency from. The shapes are identical, but the coloring is different. It is therefore not this item in that shot.
