This item was sitting on a tray with several other such devices in Sickbay as “The Doctor” (Robert Picardo) attempted to diagnose what ended up being nihiliphobia in “Neelix” (Ethan Phillips), it consists of twin silver-colored rods on one end, attached to a gray, acrylic body featuring textured, semi-circular accents, and an elongated, silver-colored, rod-shaped ‘emitter’ with blue stripes around its circumference and ending in an orange light that is activated by a button on the gray base that still retains power from production use. The item measures approx. 7 X 2 X 1 inches.
