| STAR TREK: “RECURRING ALIEN COMPUTER PROP” | |||
| A prop computer appearing variously in Star Trek episodic television. The item appeared in multiple episodes of differing series like “Redemption, Part II” and “Unification, Part II” of Star Trek: The Next Generation where it appeared as a Klingon computer, then later as a Starfleet computer in “Descent, Part I”. The item appeared several more times in Star Trek: Voyager episodes as various alien computers. It is composed of two pieces, the base and the monitor. The base is a shaped acrylic painted metallic silver, with a rubber accent placed in the front, the sides are beveled, raised accents are present, and adhesive details are applied. Internal electronic elements are present and an externally mounted switch, none of which have been proven to function, capable of being powered by a 9volt battery lead. The monitor is constructed much the same way with no electronics and with a black acrylic ‘display screen’ with no visible display graphic. The items measure approx. 10.5 X 9.5 X 1.5 inches and 8.5 X 9.25 X 1.25 inches. | |||
