| A large LCARS panel (Library Computer Access and Retrieval) used in the engineering set of the “U.S.S. Valiant” on the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Valiant”. The item is a large sheet of smoked acrylic with a graphical application adhered to the reverse depicting interior ship schematics and cross sections of the Defiant-Class starship. It appeared in a scene taking place between “Nog” (Aaron Eisenberg) and “Jake Sisko” (Cirroc Lofton) The graphic is multi-colored and features two small dorsal views of the ship with various highlighted sections, a larger dorsal view of half of the ship that features positions of the sickbay, galley, bridge, engineering, and weapons emplacements, and a cross section from the side of the ship which locates the main shuttlebay with a shuttle in it, the location of main engineering, and the bridge. The display is inscribed ‘Master Systems Display II’ and ‘NCC-74210’. The item is beveled for dimension, features screw holes for wall mounting, and the display graphic is best viewed when back lit by an external light source. The item measures approx. 38.25 X 68.25 inches. | |||
