STAR TREK: “ENGINEER’S WHITE RADIOLOGICAL SUIT – ‘THERMAL’ ACCENT”
A costume accent for a Starfleet engineer’s white radiological suit appearing variously in Star Trek feature films from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan through Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The item is typically referred to as a ‘thermal’ accent and was for any number of reasons removed from a corresponding costume. The item is reflective silver colored fabric bordered by white fabric with black rubber tubing fitted into positions along the face. The item was affixed to a costume on either of the thighs. White threads remain from costume removal, the item measures approx. 7.25 X 6.25 inches. The black tubing indicates wear on the uniform of a crewman engineer.
