STAR TREK: “FEATURE STYLE ENGINEERING WHITE RADIOLOGICAL SUIT”
An engineer’s white radiological costume appearing in various Star Trek feature films from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan through Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The costume is a white jumpsuit with ribbing around the waist, the elbows, in a circular pattern on the chest, and a silver colored metal break mask attachment for the left breast. All of the jumpsuit’s corresponding accoutrements are accompanying, yet unattached except for a yellow backed Starfleet emblem patch sewn onto the left shoulder and yellow stripe on the left cuff. The unattached elements are a black foam rubber collar indicating the wearer to be a crewman, a pair of white gloves with black tubing ‘thermal’ accents, a pair of ‘thermal’ accents with black tubing for the thighs of the jumpsuit and a smaller one with a white, plastic accent for the left arm sleeve, a reflective silver colored accent for the left side front of the waist, a pair of costume boots, not distressed. Also, the costume comes with these smaller components: a pair of yellow shoulder mounted division strips, a white trimmed black felt placement for a yellow division strip (both present) for the left forearm sleeve, a white placement with an affixed silver colored metal badge indicating the wearer to be a ‘petty officer 1st class’, a pair of silver colored metal rigging loops for the front of the costume, a copper colored foil center chest accent, and a silver colored pin backed badge with the name ‘BEKKA’ etched into it from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
