STAR TREK VI: “KLINGON MINER’S MASK FROM RURA PENTHE” | |||
A prop mining mask featured in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country for use by alien prisoners in the dilithium mines of Rura Penthe. The item is sturdy molded plastic painted rust red with multiple points of distress to appear ‘abused’, some spotting of metallic silver paint to appear metal. The item features a pivoting fortification, a see through eye piece, a head ring that is size adjusting, and a pair of currently non-functional lamps on at the temples. It is believed the lights could be made to function again providing a change of bulbs. The item measures approx. 9 X 13 X 12 inches. A single crack is present in the top of the mask with is not believed to be part of the overall appearance of the item. |

STAR TREK VI: “KLINGON DESKTOP CONSOLE AND DATA CARD” | |||
A prop data card reader appearing in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country during scenes taking place in “Chancellor Gorkon’s” (David Warner) chambers on “Qo’noS One”. The item is made from rust colored injection molded plastic with multiple raised details, Klingon iconographic decals, a raised mirrored ‘display screen’ with lights protruding underneath. The lights activate by way of a bottom mounted switch and are powered by a single 9volt battery to allow for sequentially flashing red lights. The top of the display screen features a slit to allow for the accompanying Klingon data card to be placed within. The data card is sturdy molded resin with a translucent acrylic slide positioned on the end. This item also features raised details and Klingon iconographic lettering as well as a pair of metal loops positioned on the sides, possibly for the attachment of a chain. The desktop monitor has seen some damage due to time and storage conditions. The top of the screen where the card slit enters is cracked thought intact, the electronics held internally are loose inside if they were ever adhered to the structure of the item. A series of no scratch pads are placed on the bottom of the item and dried pink colored Klingon special effects ‘blood’ remains from set production use. The items measures approx. 9 X 8.5 X 3 inches and 3.25 X 4.5 X 0.75 inches. Look for this rare item in the Star Trek VI DVD featurettes under the title “Penny’s Toy Box”. |

This lot consists of a gray, leather/vinyl pleated, jacket featuring textured, vertical stripes, a dark-gray, shoulder “armor” piece with diamond-shaped rubber detail, metal tabs, wood and metal accents on the chest; chain around the left shoulder, black faux fur sleeves, horizontal, black stripes above them. A long, sleeveless, gray undergarment with large vertical pleats, a second undergarment with a white stitched, swirl pattern, and one of the trademark Klingon belts featuring the trapezoidal buckle and five raised dots on it. A black leather gorget featuring black, rubber piping and Klingon iconographic symbols, matching gauntlets, black, vinyl disruptor holster with resin cast accents, a pair of black, leather gloves with trimmed fingers and “claws” on the ends, rubber and resin cast gauntlet and arm badges with Klingon iconography, a molded foam spinal piece, gray, pleated, overall-style trousers with stirrups for the feet, and black, vinyl spats. This costume is a Klingon warrior and consists of a long-sleeved jacket featuring differing styles, colors, and textures of leather sewn together in a piecemeal style with brown, faux fur along the sleeves and across the chest; a wide, suede belt/bandolier featuring a similar piecemeal style, two large, brown cords wrapped in leather string and another wrapped around the belt itself. Overall-style brown trousers with pleating down the sides and front, and knee-high, brown leather boots accented with the same leather threads and different textures and styles of fabric.
