STAR TREK VI: “KLINGON CEREMONIAL ARMOR”
An as yet unseen Klingon costume piece created for scenes taking place during Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The item is a large molded rubber costume embellishment that covers the entire front of the wearer’s body excepting the arms. It wraps around the neck with a circular clasp and hangs down over the body. Two familiar Klingon accents are present on the item, one: a Klingon unit badge molded from rubber adhered into a position on the front, and two: a Klingon Empire emblem is molded immediately into the rubber of the item itself. It is adorned with multiple molded textures and accents. The Velcro adhered into the neck piece has lost its adhesive quality. While the item was never viewed on screen, its creation for Star Trek VI was verified by costume continuity photographs.

STAR TREK VI: “KLINGON RURA PENTHE PROP LOT”
A lot of items featured in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The items are comprised of a set of large ankle chains, a set of smaller chain manacles, a canteen, and a unique Klingon themed monitor. The monitor is made from vacuum formed plastic colored rust red with multiple molded details across the surface, a hexagonal ‘display screen’ that is black, a pair of red light bulbs protruding from the base of the screen and a red colored Klingon language decal. A short gray cable protrudes from the bottom of the device. The monitor itself is no longer attached to the base. The large manacles are heavy duty plastic with a rust painted metal chain between them; hinges are present to allow for them to open and seal. The small manacles are rust colored with metallic gold adhesive detail, metal chain, and hinged bonds, one is permanently open. The canteen matches the other items design with distress to appear used by way of scratches and ‘scoring’. The smaller manacles measure approx. 12 inches long, the ‘display monitor’ 8.5 X 9 X 3 inches, the canteen 8.5 X 6 X 4 inches, and the manacles approx. 50 inches long.

The item is a thick baldric with varying metal layers. From top to bottom, the item is composed of Klingon pseudo chain mail distressed to appear aged, with a tri-band, a molded metal house badge indicating the wearer to be a member of the “House of Gowron”, a quad band, a square shaped embellishment with a gold colored center appearing frequently on baldrics of this style, a metal link to three vertically affixed bands, moving down to a chevron that fortifies the item base at the waist. The back of the item is lest busy, the interior is adorned with Velcro placements to stay the item on the wearer’s shoulder, and adhesive strips for padding. The interior lining is inscribed ‘Brian Thompson’, a veteran Star Trek actor who portrayed “Lieutenant Klag” in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “A Matter of Honor”.
