STAR TREK: TNG “INTERPHASIC ORGANISM”
An unusual episode to say the least, “Phantasms” involves something truly impressive, “Data” (Brent Spiner) dreaming. In his sleeping states Data confronts an array of surreal situations and imagery, one a “cellular peptide cake” made up of none other than “Deanna Troi” (Mirina Sirtis). Soon, in one of the turbolifts, Data corners Troi and stabs her in the shoulder for no apparent reason but the reality of the situation becomes clear when Data enters a state of unreality and dreams the conclusion to the episode. The crew have become infected with ‘Interphasic Organisms', not visible to the naked eye, but revealed by way of an ‘Interphasic scanner’ (soon to be available in auction). Data’s actions against Troi appear to have to do with his unique android abilities and an attempt to live out his dream of slicing into her arm to remove one of the organisms. The item in question is an actual prop Interphasic Organism made from latex, resin, and metal components. The brilliantly preserved prop shot model features multiple legs and tentacles, tines at the mouth and anus all painted in a gruesome lifelike fashion, and a metal support pillar with screw thread base for attachment to a stand. The pillar has an approximate 23 inch length of yellow plastic cable with wiring inside presumably to work untested interior components. The item measures approx. 16 X 14 X 6 inches.

This great costume was worn by “Commander Riker's” (Jonathan Frakes) father, “Kyle Riker” (Mitchell Ryan) during the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Icarus Factor”. The costume is his “Anbo-Jyutsu” suit which he wore while competing against his son. The game is a type of Human martial arts with two competitors wearing protective armor. The costume includes an off-white formfitting jumpsuit that has quilted pads attached to the elbows and thighs, a padded neckline rim and a zip up the back. On the chest plate are three Japanese characters that when translated mean “fire”, “ground” and “water”. The lower body armor is off-white quilted fabric with red trim and a flap at the front. Gray plastic armor that has had some gray tape attached in places is fixed on the front and the back. Around the lower arms are off-white pads with red trim that Velcro closed. Over the top is then worn gray plastic armor held on with gray straps. The padded gloves are red and white. On the lower legs are off-white pads with red trim that Velcro closed. Over the top are gray plastic shin protectors that are held on with straps at the back. The accompanying shoes are gray and red modified Nike’s with pieces of gray plastic attached over the laces. The costume is complete with a gray helmet with a solid red trimmed visor and chin strap. STAR TREK: TNG “COMMANDER RIKER'S” ANBO-JYUTSU RED SUIT PLUS STUNT BONUS
This great costume was worn by “Commander Riker” (Jonathan Frakes) during the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Icarus Factor”. The costume is his “Anbo-Jyutsu” suit which he wore while competing against his father “Kyle Riker” (Mitchell Ryan). The game is a type of Human martial arts with two competitors wearing protective armor. The costume includes a red formfitting jumpsuit that has quilted pads attached to the elbows and thighs, a padded neckline rim and a zip up the back. Red plastic armor that has had some red tape attached in places is fixed on the front and the back. Around the lower arms are red pads with gray trim that Velcro closed. Over the top is then worn red plastic armor held on with red straps. The padded gloves are red and white however some of the red tape detail is peeling away from them. On the lower legs are red pads with gray trim that Velcro closed. Over the top are red plastic shin protectors that are held on with straps at the back. The accompanying shoes are red and gray modified Nike's with pieces of red plastic attached over the laces. The costume is complete with a red helmet with a solid gray trimmed visor and chin strap. The helmet is actually Riker’s stunt double’s since Riker’s appears to have been lost to time. The right side of the visor has received some damage causing the gray metal trim to become partially detached. The visor is intended to render the wearer ‘blind’ since each competitor is meant to sense where their opponent is by means of audio signals generated by their staff weapons (not included). As a BONUS the “Stunt Riker” burgundy color jumpsuit is also included with an additional set of upper and lower body armor, complete lower leg pads and armor, lower arm pads (no armor) and an extra pair of red and gray Nike shoes. Essentially the bonus is a second almost complete costume minus the lower arm armor, gloves and helmet.

STAR TREK I: THE MOTION PICTURE “SPOCK” SPACESUIT
This authentic spacesuit was featured prominently in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture when “Spock” (Leonard Nimoy) left the “Enterprise” to conduct a mindmeld with the ‘V'Ger Probe’. Made from brown, orange, and white materials with insets of plastic and metal accents, this costume features an astonishing array of ribbed details at the knees, elbows, and around the chest and waist. Due to time and storage conditions the costume features a degree of wear as some of the orange of the exterior has bled into the white of the interior and internal padding has collected at the ankles and cuffs, yet the costume retains its overall intact appearance. The costume comes complete with a pair of gloves, a collar that Velcro’s into place around the neck and on the shoulders, and a pair of spats that clasp onto the legs of the jumpsuit. The costume also features a molded chest frame for a helmet; the frame features internal foam padding with multiple cutouts, a buckle and belt and lace holes on the side to keep it together; screw holes and screws are evident and both the back and the front feature multi-color painted accents and details. The helmet maintains it’s large fishbowl like faceplate and has internal padding, mounts for attachment to the frame, and an approximate 8.5 X 1.75 inch rectangular hole cut into the upper right hemisphere of the item for an undisclosed reason revealing internal foam. The interior of the gloves are inscribed ‘L. Nimoy’, the chest frame reads ‘Spock’ with a section of the foam missing, and the costume jumpsuit reads ‘Nimoy’ at the upper back. This incredible, once in a lifetime costume is an exceptional artifact from 1979 and its condition is excellent given the materials available at the time. The workmanship still holds up and the style it simply something of an era that would be difficult to duplicate.

STAR TREK: FEATURE STYLE “SECURITY ARMOR”
Making appearances in various feature films like Star Trek I: The Motion Picture, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, and The Undiscovered Country this style of uniform and armor seems to be the standard for Starfleet security in the fleet and at base. Worn around white two piece uniforms in The Motion Picture, the costumes changed to similar red uniforms with black undershirts with ribbed collars, and a back and breast plate with a brown leather covered helmet featuring a white Starfleet arrowhead emblem on the front during The Search for Spock, the latter of which is included in this auction. The lot is a red two piece uniform with back and breast plate armor (with some degree of wear in the form of minor cracks, and a leather coated helmet, and a leather belt with metallic silver colored accent bars placed on its center, a pair of belt keeps, and a leather holster. Interior ‘Western Costume Co.' tags read ‘Ron Cragg’. The pants feature a dark green division stripe down the outside seams, and the costume comes with a removed green division strip for the left sleeve with an affixed circular pip indicating 10 years of service due to the Starfleet arrowhead logo centered on it, a nearly identical one indicating five years of service, and a silver colored bar indicating a commendation affixed between the prior two, as well as a red rank placement with affixed metal badge indicating the rank of ‘petty officer, 1st class’. The costumer’s tag with the accoutrements is inscribed ‘Security Guard, Federation Security Council’ indicating likely use in the final scenes of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.

STAR TREK III: SEARCH FOR SPOCK – ACCELERATED GROWTH CASKET MICROORGANISM
In the Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, “Kirk's” (William Shatner) son, “David Marcus” (Merritt Butrick) researches the “Genesis” planet which was created in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Incredibly unstable, any life forms in contact with the planet are subject to the effects of rapid aging and evolution. This includes the microbes present on the surface of “Spock’s” (Leonard Nimoy) casket when it was ejected from the “U.S.S. Enterprise” following his funeral in the previous film. The microbes evolved into these orange oversized creatures. Made of foam latex, the creature is painted in shades of orange and brown with dried special effects coatings used to give the skin a moist appearance on screen. There is a slit in the underside of the enlarged portion where a hand was inserted to animate it like a puppet. Measures approx. 109 x 17 x 5 inches.

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE “VULCAN OFFICER” COSTUME
A Vulcan costume featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Carbon Creek” in which “T'Pol” (Jolene Blalock) tells the story of her great-grandmother having crash landed on Earth in 1957, lived among the humans for a time, and then rescued by a Vulcan ship. This is the costume of one of the rescuers a leather two-piece uniform with tan, khaki, black, and brown components with a matching belt, and a gold colored resin badge centered on the chest over the zipper seam (adhesive topstick applies the badge from one side to the other). The collar of the uniform features embedded badges in a ‘Vulcan’ swirl type arrangement, perhaps the rank of the wearer. Sewn in Enterprise tags, and two costumer’s tags indicate wear by ‘Ron Marasco’ as “Vulcan Officer” in the episode “Carbon Creek” though one spelling on a tag reads ‘Ron Mascaro’.
