JEM'HADAR ATTACK FIGHTER MODEL |
The fearsome Jem'Hadar became a terrible reality for the crew of Deep Space Nine after an incident during a camping trip turned rumor into reality. Their vaguely beetle-like ships were a testament to their prowess in battle and when the Dominion War began, space filled with ships just like this one. Made for episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine this model exhibits distress to elicit an appearance of damage and battle duress. Its missing aft coverplate is evidence as well as a series of scored markings to indicate "hits" by enemy fire. The model measures roughly 29x30x7 inches. |

STAR TREK: DS9 “DEEP SPACE NINE” WOODEN STUDY MODEL
An enormous wooden study model of the famous space station “Deep Space Nine” featured in every episode of the Star Trek series of the same name. Built by the Cardassians to process ‘uridium' ore during their occupation of the planet Bajor during hostilities with the United Federation of Planets the station was eventually abandoned by its government when the Cardassian Union withdrew from Bajor. The UFP was asked to administer the station and maintain a presence there to bolster the strength of the impoverished Bajoran system. When a stable wormhole was discovered by “Commander Benjamin Sisko” (Avery Brooks) in the nearby ‘Denorios Belt’ the station was moved to become the stopover point for ships going from one end of the wormhole to the other. This wooden model features the same impressive alien design as the feature models used on the show with six curved docking pylons, a habitat ring and a pair of sculpted Styrofoam details made to represent ‘the promenade’ and ‘Ops’ on the top and ‘reactor control’ on the bottom. One emitter array is present on the habitat ring. This impressive model is capable of being hung from three cords attached to the upper pylons. The item measures approx. 50.5 inches tall and 72 inches in diameter. |

STAR TREK VII: “STELLAR CARTOGRAPHY STUDY MODEL”
Who can forget the stunning visual effects created for the ‘Stellar Cartography' lab on the “U.S.S. Enterprise-D” during Star Trek VII: Generations? While tracking down their captured crewman and his kidnapper, “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) and “Data” (Brent Spiner) enter a lab that has vastly changed since its first appearance in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Lessons”. This study model is part of what made it all possible; a white foam core model on a 12 X 12 inch square base standing approx. 7.75 inches high of a ¼ inch scale set. The model features a round base supporting an entryway that mounts a centrally positioned workstation with a rail. A clear plastic ‘screen’ is evident surrounding the model through which can be seen the interior. A ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation Feature’ application is present in the 24th century title font, and another application indicating the production designer (Herman Zimmerman) and Art director (Sandy Veneziano). The model stands on a quartet of feet and due to storage conditions shows some signs of wear in that the plastic ‘screen’ is peeling from the model in one location due to the white tape having lost some of its adherence. Also, a section of the ceiling appears to have been mislaid if in fact the item was ever supposed to have included it. |

STAR TREK: DS9 “RUNABOUT MODEL WRECKAGE”
A selection of ‘Runabout' model components distressed to appear destroyed. During the course of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine many runabouts were destroyed. These model components were used to depict the wreckage of those ships after they were destroyed by any number of circumstances. The selection contains the remnants of five warp nacelles, two of which appear to be the remains of the “USS Ganges”, destroyed by a ‘T’Lani cruiser’ in the episode “Armageddon Game” as the registry number ‘NCC-72454’ is still evident on both. All of the components feature the familiar Starfleet paint color scheme and a high degree of warping due to melting, scorch marks, holes with added ‘exposed’ lattice and wiring. Several of the pieces appear to house mini-lights for special effects that are connected to a variety of wires with exposed ends. These untested items might in fact still light up if one were so inclined to determine the voltage necessary for illuminating them. One piece appear to be a large section of main body hull, another a mission module, and another still part of the aft quarters torn away. |

STAR TREK: VOYAGER “USS DAUNTLESS BRIDGE MODEL – HOPE AND FEAR”
Having accessed a communications array, the crew of “Voyager” received an encoded message indicating nearby coordinates. Upon arrival they discovered a starship presumably sent from Starfleet to carry them home employing experimental ‘quantum slipstream drive' technology much faster than warp speed. The ship was a dream come true and the bridge was light years more advanced than that of the intrepid “USS Voyager”. The item up for auction is a foam core model of the bridge of the “Dauntless”, the ship discovered in the episode “Hope and Fear”. The model features two secondary areas adjoining the main bridge rotunda, a three dimensional work of art eventually realized in a full scale, life sized set featured in the episode. The central bridge depicts an inset helm bank and chair at the fore, a centrally located command chair and a series of guard rails around them. The sides of the bridge walls are open to give viewers a full view of the interior, a section of the walls are present for the full effect. The front of the bridge is a step up to the main viewscreen (open for a view aft), and the rear reveals the exit to attached corridors. Two model miniature Starfleet characters are present for scale depicted in ‘First Contact-style’ uniforms, glued into place, one of the guard rails is unattached butt most likely to be placed at the fore of the bridge. The entire model is attached to a base showing some degree of damage due to time and storage conditions in that a corner is cracked but still attached due to the sturdiness of the top layer of the base, and a small corner under the identification plate on the base is broken away. The ID plate reads ‘Star Trek: Voyager, Episode #194, “Hope and Fear”, Dauntless Bridge” in caps and in the ‘Voyager-style’ font. The entire item measures approx. 22 X 36 X 7.5 inches. |
