STAR TREK VII: “STELLAR CARTOGRAPHY STUDY MODEL”
Who can forget the stunning visual effects created for the ‘Stellar Cartography' lab on the “U.S.S. Enterprise-D” during Star Trek VII: Generations? While tracking down their captured crewman and his kidnapper, “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) and “Data” (Brent Spiner) enter a lab that has vastly changed since its first appearance in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Lessons”. This study model is part of what made it all possible; a white foam core model on a 12 X 12 inch square base standing approx. 7.75 inches high of a ¼ inch scale set. The model features a round base supporting an entryway that mounts a centrally positioned workstation with a rail. A clear plastic ‘screen’ is evident surrounding the model through which can be seen the interior. A ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation Feature’ application is present in the 24th century title font, and another application indicating the production designer (Herman Zimmerman) and Art director (Sandy Veneziano). The model stands on a quartet of feet and due to storage conditions shows some signs of wear in that the plastic ‘screen’ is peeling from the model in one location due to the white tape having lost some of its adherence. Also, a section of the ceiling appears to have been mislaid if in fact the item was ever supposed to have included it. |

STAR TREK: FEATURE STYLE “SECURITY ARMOR”
Making appearances in various feature films like Star Trek I: The Motion Picture, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, and The Undiscovered Country this style of uniform and armor seems to be the standard for Starfleet security in the fleet and at base. Worn around white two piece uniforms in The Motion Picture, the costumes changed to similar red uniforms with black undershirts with ribbed collars, and a back and breast plate with a brown leather covered helmet featuring a white Starfleet arrowhead emblem on the front during The Search for Spock, the latter of which is included in this auction. The lot is a red two piece uniform with back and breast plate armor (with some degree of wear in the form of minor cracks, and a leather coated helmet, and a leather belt with metallic silver colored accent bars placed on its center, a pair of belt keeps, and a leather holster. Interior ‘Western Costume Co.' tags read ‘Ron Cragg’. The pants feature a dark green division stripe down the outside seams, and the costume comes with a removed green division strip for the left sleeve with an affixed circular pip indicating 10 years of service due to the Starfleet arrowhead logo centered on it, a nearly identical one indicating five years of service, and a silver colored bar indicating a commendation affixed between the prior two, as well as a red rank placement with affixed metal badge indicating the rank of ‘petty officer, 1st class’. The costumer’s tag with the accoutrements is inscribed ‘Security Guard, Federation Security Council’ indicating likely use in the final scenes of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. |

STAR TREK: VOYAGER “USS DAUNTLESS BRIDGE MODEL – HOPE AND FEAR”
Having accessed a communications array, the crew of “Voyager” received an encoded message indicating nearby coordinates. Upon arrival they discovered a starship presumably sent from Starfleet to carry them home employing experimental ‘quantum slipstream drive' technology much faster than warp speed. The ship was a dream come true and the bridge was light years more advanced than that of the intrepid “USS Voyager”. The item up for auction is a foam core model of the bridge of the “Dauntless”, the ship discovered in the episode “Hope and Fear”. The model features two secondary areas adjoining the main bridge rotunda, a three dimensional work of art eventually realized in a full scale, life sized set featured in the episode. The central bridge depicts an inset helm bank and chair at the fore, a centrally located command chair and a series of guard rails around them. The sides of the bridge walls are open to give viewers a full view of the interior, a section of the walls are present for the full effect. The front of the bridge is a step up to the main viewscreen (open for a view aft), and the rear reveals the exit to attached corridors. Two model miniature Starfleet characters are present for scale depicted in ‘First Contact-style’ uniforms, glued into place, one of the guard rails is unattached butt most likely to be placed at the fore of the bridge. The entire model is attached to a base showing some degree of damage due to time and storage conditions in that a corner is cracked but still attached due to the sturdiness of the top layer of the base, and a small corner under the identification plate on the base is broken away. The ID plate reads ‘Star Trek: Voyager, Episode #194, “Hope and Fear”, Dauntless Bridge” in caps and in the ‘Voyager-style’ font. The entire item measures approx. 22 X 36 X 7.5 inches. |

A prop travel case made for Star Trek episodic television, almost certainly for the episode “Unity” of Star Trek: Voyager. There are two housings on the top for shoulder strap attachments making the item untimately travelling. The most impressive feature of the device is the clear plastic covered inset with mounted irremovable faux ‘isolinear chips', a series of translucent green and blue intermittently placed plastic dressings. When the bay for these ‘chips’ is pulled free of its housing, the internal workings are revealed allowing for the batteries to be changed. Soon other Gamma Quadrant aliens arrived searching for Tosk and the truth was revealed, they were hunters on an intergalactic pursuit and Tosk was their prey! Almost invulnerable to phasers and able to beam through shields, the Hunter aliens costume makes them some of the most powerful humanoids Starfleet has ever encountered. Their costume consists of a full length red jumpsuit with layers for a shielded appearance, a zip up the back with Velcro and clasps, tall leather boots with added synthetic sections and Velcro at the top which fastens to the costume and rubber accents which strap onto the toe of the boots, a pair of clamps for the forearms of the jumpsuit with a metal rod accent furthering the alien ness of the lot, a belt and harness combo that straps across the left shoulder and Velcro’s around the right side with an entire array of working multi-colored lights which activate at the flip of a switch and are powered by a single 9volt battery, and then there’s the helmet! A metallic silver colored helmet with molded plastic details, tubing, a dual layered appearance, a black nylon chin strap a center mounted working red light for ‘invisible Tosk detection’ activated by a button above the clear plastic face screen, and another set of neon tubes, one set at the chin and another down pointed chevron shaped tube centered in the face screen activated by a matching button next to the aforementioned one both powered by two separate 9volt batteries held within the helmet under the protective foam. The inside of the helmet is inscribed ‘Dennis’ for Dennis Madalone, frequent Star Trek recurring stunt performer and bit player. The costumer’s tag is also inscribed in such fashion. |

STAR TREK: DS9 “BREEN ATMOSPHERE ARMOR”
Perhaps the most enigmatic species in Star Trek history are the Breen, often mentioned but finally revealed in Deep Space Nine. These mysterious beings appeared in multi-layered costume armor affixed in asymmetric patterns with impressive helmets. Their costumes are composed of a jumpsuit with heavily padded legs and torso, a pair of incredible knee high boots with pointed toes, a ringed cloth coif for wear around the neck and under the accompanying layered chest armor jacket, a pair of matching gloves, a rust colored belt and harness attached to a backpack with cross hatch details, and an enormous two piece helmet. The helmet features an interior size adjusting ring for fitting onto an actor's head, internal wiring and battery placements for a powered neon tube in the front on the forehead activated by an external switch (made functional by on 9volt battery, a second battery should power an additional set of side mounted lights which should flicker in pattern), and magnetic placements for affixing the accompanying facemask which features two screen mesh covered breathing openings and an eye slit adorned with sparkle glazed accents. Additionally, the costume includes a pair of pins that fit through positions on the face mask to further its attachment to the helmet, a resin molded detail that has come away from the outside of the left boot, and a sheath attached to the belt. The costume features multiple sewn in tags indicating wear by multiple actors and the helmet is inscribed with several names in marker ink. The costume is distressed to appear ‘dirty’ and damaged in that there are several visible tears and rips in the fabric leaving openings of exposed ‘armor’. |

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE “SPHERE BUILDER/GUARDIAN” COSTUME
A costume jumpsuit and top made for wear by actors portraying ‘Sphere Builders' or Guardians’ as they were known to the Xindi. Often mentioned but making only a few appearances, the Guardians were revered almost as gods by the Xindi for their aid in uniting the five member species and setting them on a path to greatness. However, it was not known by the Xindi Council that they were destined to forge an alliance with humanity in a government yet to be formed called the Federation. Due to this, the Xindi were easily convinced by the Guardians that humanity had to be destroyed, all of which was part of their plot to invade space that would one day be part of the Federation. Their costumes are ornate two piece jumpsuits with a top. The jumpsuit is vinyl with multiple lines of sewn in tubing for accents and painted with metallic gold spots for detail. The top is identically constructed with a zip of the back and both garments feature affixed molded latex accents painted metallic gold. The costume comes complete with similarly fashioned shoes and the costumer’s tag reads ‘Enterprise #76, ND Sphere Builder’. |

STAR TREK I: TMP “BETELGEUSIAN” MASK
The “Betelgeusians” are from the planet Betelgeuse II and at least two served as background crew onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise during the V'Ger incident in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture. As stated by Memory Alpha, the name and origin of the species was created during the film’s production rather than revealed on screen. This full head mask is made of latex painted blue with small semi-circle grooves over the surface to create the effect of skin. The ears are pointed and the beak-like nose area is red with a small hole in the center. There are holes for the eyes and mouth. There is a split up the back that Velcro’s closed, allowing for the mask to be put on. Due to time and storage the base of the mask has lost its pliability. |
