STAR TREK: “NICHELLE NICHOLS” TAGGED GARMENTS
An enigmatic robe colored burnt orange with cropped sleeves and pockets believed to have been acquired for Nichelle Nichols during her career portraying “Uhura”. The robe features a sewn in size tag at the neck inscribed ‘L N’ and comes with a costumer’s tag reading ‘Nichelle Nichols’. The robe has a sewn on yellow backed Starfleet emblem patch on the left breast reminiscent of those appearing on Star Trek I: The Motion Picture uniforms. However, while those assignment patches are very round with black trim and a black star in the center, this one is oblong, comparatively, and has white trim and a white star. Speculation points to the possibility that the item is a robe for use in make-up and hair departments prior to filming, set wear for comfort, or an actual costume prepared for either Star Trek, Star Trek Phase II, or any of the Star Trek feature films. The lot also contains black body length tights with a costumer’s tag reading ‘Nichelle Nichols, not used’. |

STAR TREK: DS9 “STATION PHOTON TORPEDO UPGRADES” FROM “THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR, PART II”
A pair of model elements featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “The Way of the Warrior, Part II”. The items were fabricated as models for on screen use, depicting new weapons improvements to the hero station “Deep Space Nine” which were deployed against a Klingon fleet when they attacked the Federation in the episode. The models depict a deployed and a non-deployed photon torpedo array. The deployed piece is a highly detailed to show its extended support pillars and the hardware involved in its extension out of the station itself. The second, non-deployed piece is intended to show the item closer to the station. One is believed to be for the scenes depicting the item ‘firing’ torpedoes from the docking pylons and the other to show them firing from the station rings. Both items are extraordinarily detailed and painted to appear exposed to space and fitting with the Starfleet color schemes. The metal strips on the sides of the items are phaser banks. The squatter item measures approx. 13.25 X 6 X 5 inches, the taller measures approx. 9.5 X 4 X 7 inches. The items come packaged together in their original wooden shipping crate that measures approx. 19.5 X 19.5 X 11.5 inches. |

STAR TREK: DS9 “KLINGON MEK'LETH”
A prop weapon similar to those featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Marauders” and the two-part Deep Space Nine episode that introduced “Worf” (Michael Dorn) on the show, “Way of the Warrior”. The mek’leth is about half the length of the bat’leth and is preferred by some Klingon warriors for its smaller size and compactness; it is plastic molded with a metal frame, a curved blade that comes to multiple points on the outside edge, features a leather-wrapped handle with a hand guard, a leather sheath with strap to wrap around a belt or waist and is distressed for effect but otherwise is one of the best examples hereby located. The item measures approx. 21 X 7 X1 inches. |

STAR TREK “22nd CENTURY KLINGON D'K TAHG AND SHEATH”
A prop Klingon weapon featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “The Augments”; wherein “Arik Soong” (Brent Spiner) and his band of augmented humans try to start a war with the Klingons. This weapon is the D’k Tahg, it is the traditional knife of the Klingon warrior and probably one of the most recognizable weapons in the Star Trek pantheon; it is a reinforced rubber knife with a single, straight primary blade and two little blades radiating out diagonally from the sides. The handle is black rubber with brownish-red accents; from an undesignated Klingon house, has a rubber “spiked” ball on the butt end, and features a matching molded-plastic sheath for the knife with gold-colored detail, two metal hoops to attach it to a belt and a brown, leather strap to tie it with. The knife has minor fading and is distressed for effect as are all Klingon accoutrements. The item measures approx. 17 X 6 X 1.5 inches. |
