This costume is lightly distressed in the form of minor stains and fraying to emulate the extended use and less than ideal conditions incurred during the events of this episode. A lot of costume elements featured in the sixth Star Trek feature film “The Undiscovered Country”. A large sleeveless, gray tunic featuring a textured, circular pattern stitched in white and worn underneath one of two ceremonial tabard/armors. The first is a large molded rubber costume embellishment that covers the entire front of the wearer’s body excepting the arms. It wraps around the neck with a circular clasp and hangs down over the body. Two familiar Klingon accents are present on the item, one: a Klingon unit badge molded from rubber adhered into a position on the front, and two: a Klingon Empire emblem is molded immediately into the rubber of the item itself. It is adorned with multiple molded textures and accents. The Velcro adhered into the neck piece has lost its adhesive quality. The second item is of the same rubber but is quasi pentagonal, featuring a large trim around the sides, a hole in the middle for the head with its own trim; most of its surface is covered by a raised, ‘studded’ pattern and also features a triangular area bereft of adornment. Due to time and storage, the rubber items have incurred some degree of fading and damage but all are generally in good shape. |

A lot of shirts believed to be prototypes for the undershirts of the style worn from “The Wrath of Kahn” through the opening scenes of “Generations”. This lot consists of six, long-sleeved undershirts similar in style to what was called the “Class-A” in Star Trek: The Motion Picture and are in the following division colors; white for command, green for medical, gold for operations, orange for sciences, and red for engineering. The blue shirt is believed to be what became known as the “Special Services” division in the later films. The shirts are made of the same fabric, have some of the same accents lines but have turtleneck-like collars perhaps denoting the evolution from the non-collared Class-A to the ribbed style that became the standard. |

The items are metal containers with removable lids that measure approx. 1.75 X 2 inches diameter. Both items feature Starfleet inventory applications colored blue with white cadesus graphics, one lid features a purple colored ‘System Access’ application that is applied to the lid inset. |
