STAR TREK: ENT “COMMANDER TUCKER'S DESK DEVICE”

Items like this have a special place in television and film sets, to make the place look more interesting, but not to take the viewer’s eye away from the actors. Nevertheless, discerning fans remember that it looks familiar, until they kick themselves for having seen it a hundred times. Check episodes like “Cold Front”. Item measures approx. 13 X 10 X 11.5 inches.

The second patch was seen on the ‘Logicians’ baseball team uniforms captained by “Captain Solok” (Gregory Wagrowski). The Rigellian costumes were developed for Star Trek I: The Motion Picture however they are not well remembered in the feature film. As stated by Memory Alpha, details of the species can be found in “The Making of the Motion Picture”. The “Rigellian Lord” costume includes a white top with woven cream sleeves, cream trousers that have fringed overlapping slits at the sides and green latex feet complete with claws. The latex feet cover canvas shoes and have cream fabric attached to them that cover the lower legs like baggy socks. They also have ties at the top to hold them in place. Worn around the torso is vacuum formed plastic armor colored silver to look metallic. The front and back pieces Velcro at the sides and on the shoulders. Cream fabric drapes hang off each shoulder however the Velcro portion is a bit of a mystery with both ends being fuzzy. They were pinned in place for the picture. Green latex hands with yellow claws are included. On the head is a vacuum formed plastic skullcap, colored metallic silver with a cream suede and canvas fabric veil around the back and sides. Due to time and storage the inside of the cap has brown foam that’s disintegrating however it doesn’t affect the actual appearance or the condition of the rest of the hat. Worn around the front of the face is a vacuum formed plastic headpiece to denote the rank of “Lord”. It is painted silver to appear metallic and attaches around the head with elastic. The “Rigellian Attendant” costume includes a white top with woven cream sleeves, cream trousers that have fringed overlapping slits at the sides and green latex feet complete with claws. The latex feet have cream fabric attached to them that cover the lower legs like baggy socks. They also have ties at the top to hold them in place. Due to time and use the bands over the feet come loose from the rubber but can be slotted back into place if needed. Worn around the torso is vacuum formed plastic armor colored silver to look metallic. The front and back pieces Velcro at the sides and on the shoulders. A long draping cream sash scoops from one shoulder to the other in the front and back and attaches with Velcro to the shoulders. Both costumes come complete with costume tags. Please note these are currently the LAST Rigellian costumes available.

STAR TREK: ENT “STARFLEET TEST TUBE READER” FROM “A NIGHT IN SICKBAY”
A Starfleet test tube reader featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode, “A Night in Sickbay” in which “Captain Archer’s” (Scott Bakula) dog, “Porthos” (Breezy) under went life saving surgery. The device is made of resin with seven faux test tubes along its length. A switch on the bottom turns the device on and lights a white LED light on the front. A button underneath the light activates an internal mechanism that turns off the white light and activates a blue light beside it. At the same time the second test tube from the front “empties” by having the inner plastic tube sink into the base. A metal wand with a black rubber tip is inserted into a hole in the base marked “load” to push the tube contents back up and a button marked “reset” resets the lights. Due to time and use the inner paper (usually used to create tube filling) was removed and the cap of the active test tube lost to time. In order to show the effects of the tube “emptying”, green paper was inserted by the Star Trek Auction team but can be easily removed with the wand. Attached on each side of the device are red Starfleet medical labels. Measures approx. 7 ¼ x 2 ¾ x 3 ¼ inches.

STAR TREK: VOY/TNG “TRANSPORTER PATTERN ENHANCER PROP LOT”
A lot of prop items featured throughout Star Trek: The Next Generation and Voyager. The transport pattern enhancers were utilized when, for whatever reason, a stable enough transporter lock was not possible. They always come in groups of three so that a triangle can be made with whatever needs to be transported inside it; it consists of a tripod of three silver-colored legs, a silver-colored, cylindrical main body featuring copper-colored and textured black accents, and a metal o-ring around the middle area. The last two areas are connected as you must turn them together to “activate” the pattern enhancers; a black, textured rubber area just underneath the metal conical tip. Two out of the three enhancers still have power left from production use and will activate a white light that emanates from inside the mostly hollow tip and reflects off a piece of clear plastic to spread it even more. The items each have an approximate height of 37 inches, a diameter of 3 inches but a width of approx. 22 with the legs engaged.
