A prop Klingon painstik like believed to have been featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes “The Icarus Factor” and/or “Redemption”. The item is a silver colored metal staff with molded resin sections, and a metal emitter tip. The item was found in two pieces and is capable of reattaching its corresponding pieces. The metal grip features adhered Klingon iconographic lettering, the adhesive quality of the lettering is aged and thus some of the ends are beginning to peel. The emitter tip is broken, having lost a portion of the ‘prod’, it retains its appearance. The item measures approx. 41.5 X 1 inch diameter.

The internal electronics have not proven to function; indeed there are no internal light sources; the battery packs on the reverse of the monitor depict a high degree of corrosion and exposure. The item accepts twelve 1.5volt AA sized batteries and rests on a pivoting stand that can be reattached to a metal base which is separated from the item. The white acrylic element on the front of the item is meant to function as an activator switch. A set dressing item appearing in various episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise in the crew quarters set of “Commander ‘Trip’ Tucker” (Connor Trinneer). The lot is a pair of polished silver colored metal covered bulletin boards with the ‘paperwork’ that was pinned on them. The paperwork is comprised of items that were located with the bulletin boards and verified in set continuity guides. One board is adorned with a translucent sheet that features a schematic of circuitry in black and hand written marker strokes in red and white, an ‘ENGIN/MAINT’ schematic on photo quality paper and a ‘DEPT STATUS’ log report indicating the title of various departments on the ship. The second set of ‘printouts’ are comprised of an ‘OPS DUTY ASSGN’ sheet and an ‘ACTIVITY REPORT’, a printout reading ‘INPUT MODE’ that features a schematic, a ‘HULL INTEGRITY REPORT’ that features a dorsal schematic of the “Enterprise NX-01”, a circuit design schematic, and a printout of the ‘Battle of New Orleans’ on paper taken from an etching with a lively depiction of American troops battling the British from a set of earthworks. Another set of 8.5 X 11 inch items are present which were not depicted in the continuity guides comprised of a printout of a star chart in black with radiating positions showing the location of stars in the galaxy and of some well known locations including ‘Wolf-359’, ‘P’Jem’, ‘Terra Nova’, ‘Andoria’ and ‘Vulcan’; a translucent rendering of what may be a nacelle housing, an ‘ENGIN/ MAINT’ report deck by deck, and an engineering schematic of the “Enterprise NX-01” complete with a graphic of the assignment logo for the ship, and capabilities of the ship itself under normal operating parameters. The paperwork features pin holes and a degree of warping and bends due to set use, they were located in a folder reading ‘Trips Quarters’. An unfinished Starfleet away team field jacket like those featured in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan for wear by William Shatner in his portrayal of “Admiral Kirk”. The item is made from off white colored un-dyed fabric with multiple sewn in raised accents for a busier appearance. The item features a high degree of deteriorated foam interior lining that has collected in the folded up hems that are not sewn shut. The pockets also have collected a degree of this same material, it has not detracted from the overall external appearance of the item. The asymmetrical front seals through the use of Velcro placements; the costume features two front and reverse flap pockets and a pair of hand pockets. A sewn in Western Costume Co. tag reads ‘William Shatner’.
