STAR TREK: DS9 “TY KAJADA COSTUME” FROM “THE PASSENGER”
A costume featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “The Passenger”, wherein a criminal attempts to hide his consciousness in the body of “Dr. Bashir” (Alexander Siddig) when he fears that his own body is about to die. This costume is for wear by Caitlin Brown in the role of a Kobliad security officer that is tracking the criminal, “Ty Kajada”, and is long-sleeved jacket in the jacquard woven style, featuring a maroon, lightly textured, diamond-shaped pattern, a lighter shaded panel along the front and back with its own fashion of diamond shapes, a zip down the back that tucks into overall-style trouser in the same double diamond motif, and stirrups for feet. This is the version of the costume the character was wearing when she was rescued from her damaged ship so it is distressed to reflect this with a few stains on the trousers and jackets. Kaitlin Brown also played "Vekor" on the TNG feature length episode "The Gambit: Part I & II" and this costume was later used as a photo double version of what the aged “T'Pol” (Jolene Blalock) wore on the Enterprise episode “E²”.
