The various windows are labeled ‘Exo Language Skills’, ‘Event Schedule’ including a listing for ‘Prof Hoshi 0900’, ‘Study Aids’, and a window listed as ‘Notes’ indicating ‘less emphasis on the NEKLEET’. The item opens on a hinged lid and when closed latches shut. The lid features a rubber faux button and the bottom features a Starfleet inventory application indicating ‘Secondary Actuator’. The item still functions when powered by four AA sized 1.5volt batteries thus emitting sound when the buttons are pressed (though there is no way to navigate the screen while it is covered). The item measures approx. 10.5 X 9.25 X 1.25 inches when the lid is closed. The faint inscription ‘Oregon Scientific’ can be made out on the lid of the item.
