STAR TREK: ENT “VUCAN CAPTAIN SOPEK COSTUME” FROM “SHADOWS OF P'JEM”
A costume featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Shadows of P’Jem”; wherein “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) and “T’Pol” (Jolene Blalock) are captured by insurgent rebels on a war torn planet in the Coridan system and “Shran” (Jeffrey Combs) shows up to assist in their rescue but the Vulcans ruin the plan with one of their own. This costume is that of the Vulcan Captain “Sopek” who is sent to transfer “T’Pol” off of the “Enterprise NX-01”and is a full-length, long-sleeved jumpsuit that is mostly green vinyl but, along the abdomen, is a black spandex-like material, along the sleeves and around the knees the vinyl is reinforced and takes on a textured appearance. Also included is a breastplate of the same reinforced, green vinyl and the same textured appearance, but also featuring a horizontal ribbed design, buttons, a zip along the left shoulder, a clasp connection between the legs, a pair of distressed, gray leather boots, and a “captain”, metal Vulcan rank pin. A sewn in Enterprise tag reads ‘Gregory Itzin #14’ amongst two other names and the costumer’s tag reads ‘Enterprise #14 Shadows of P’Jem, Capt Sopek , Greg Itzin’.

STAR TREK “STARFLEET CADET UNIFORM LOT”
A lot of Starfleet cadet costumes featured variously in 24th century Star Trek episodic television. The first costume is of the style seen in the TNG episode “The First Duty”, a long-sleeved, full-length, black jumpsuit featuring red shoulders that zips up the spine and clasps at the top; open topped pockets on thighs, a black waist belt, and a Velcro patch for a Starfleet commbadge (sold separately). The second costume was featured in the DS9 episode “Valiant” and is one of the Red Squad cadet uniforms in the new First Contact-style; a long-sleeved, full-length gray uniform jumpsuit that zips up the front with Operations Gold quilted shoulders and division trim at the cuffs featuring a form fitting elastic waist with loops for ‘away team' gear, sewn on closed flap pockets on the thigh, a gray fabric belt, a Velcro patch for a Starfleet commbadge (sold separately). A gray long sleeved turtleneck undershirt and a metal, gold and red-colored “Red Squad” pin on the collar. The last costume is that of a ‘future’ Starfleet cadet from the Voyager finale episode “Endgame”, a long-sleeved, full–length, gray, uniform jumpsuit that features a line of black piping around the shoulders, a Velcro patch on the left breast for an included Starfleet future commbadge, and zips up the spine and clasps at the neck. A sewn in Voyager tag in the first item reads ‘Rebecca Jackson’ and a costumer’s tag reads ‘Cadet, red, TNG. A sewn in Deep Space Nine tag in the second item reads ‘Tate Branford’ and a costumer’s tag reads ‘Tate Branford, Gold, Chief, Cadet, DS9’. A sewn in tag in the third costume reads ‘May Wang’ and costumer’s tag reads ‘Voyager, #748, Starfleet, May Wang’.

The item is a prop combadge made from cast resin with the familiar metallic silver painted Starfleet logo centered with a sharp black painted border bracketed by a set of four horizontal bars, two of which are painted black, the two top bars are painted metallic gold indicating the wearer to be the rank of ‘lieutenant'. The reverse of the item features an adhered Velcro placement for a corresponding one affixed to almost any uniform (sold separately). Item measures approx. 1.75 X 2 inches. A degree of paint wear is visible on the front where a section of the metallic silver paint has worn away.

Data modules like these appeared in virtually every set of the show as set dressing and hand props. The item is a rectangular piece of plastic with a graphical application adhered to it identifying the device as ‘040, MEDICAL RECORDS 07’ in black and red, and a pair of flat acrylic pieces adhered to it, one being neon green and the other clear with silk-screened ‘circuitry’. A lot of props featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Borderland” for use by Orion Guards in the discipline of their prospective slave sales. One item, the ‘neurolytic restraint activator’ is made from molded resin with metal screw details, and a flashing yellow light. The item is powered by two internally mounted V392 sized batteries, activated by a depression button on the side. A departure from most Star Trek props, the lights will continue to flash at interval when activated whereas most others cease their electrical feature upon release of the button. This item is painted to have a metallic silver sheen that is dulled down by a paint scheme made to distress the item to the point that it appears used and to match the design of the Orion slavers. Also included are two static ‘nurolytic restrains’ with no electronic features made from cast resin These items are painted metallic silver with black painted details and metal wire side mounted ‘pins’ meant to appear as though they have punctured and grasped the skin of the wearer (the items appeared on the side of the neck of the characters in the episode). The item measures approx. 1.5 X 1.75 X .60 inches. The ‘activator’ measures approx. 3 X 2 X 0.5 inches.

The items are mounted on foam square-shaped bases with plastic tubes running up to create a pedestal, and three metal rings representing the actual structure of the buildings. A variety of graphical applications representing windows and detail are applied to the items and both feature an ‘elevator’ positioned on the pedestal at differing heights. The items are painted light blue and measure approx. 8 X 7 X 14.25 inches and 8.75 X 9.5 X 21 inches. The circular structures at the top have come off their pedestals but are included and the graphical applications have lost a degree of their adhesive quality, yet the overall aesthetic of the items is still present and viable.

One item is black foam core with a graphical application and rubber faux buttons that features a Starfleet inventory application reading ‘Security Mon 483D’, another is shaped silver colored metal with a circular recess and externally applied rubber faux buttons and a foam backing that served as the ‘electronic eye’ on the hatch to a missile/torpedo loading tube in the Armory set of the “Enterprise NX-01”, the keyboard-style item is molded resin and shares the same general production design with buttons, accents, and a blue colored transluscent gel dome. The rest of the items are smoked acrylic with graphical applications applied to the front, rubber faux buttons in gray, black, and white, depicting numeric values. One of the items features static gages that appear when backlit which depict a degree of liquid damage, this item features screw hole for mounting. Another item feature static buttons, but raised, another features the characteristic ‘speaker’ serving as a communications panel. The lot also contains am ‘1013 AUX’ panel like those appearing all over the ship as door buttons, busying accents, and more. A security panel is present, a small, square shaped item with an off white ‘thumb’ panel an ‘electronic eye’ and two buttons; the item is one of those excellent found objects appearing in television production converted for set use due to molded name brand information on the reverse. Finally a molded resin switch button bar painted metallic silver is present. The smallest item measures approx. 2.75 X 2.75 X 0.25 inches, the largest 13.25 X 9.25 inches. The lot contains 11 items, one is labeled ‘Outside Sickbay’ on the reverse having been removed carefully from a set wall prior to set strike.

The lot also contains am ‘1013 AUX’ panel like those appearing all over the ship as door buttons, busying accents, and more. A security panel is present, a small, square shaped item with an off white ‘thumb’ panel an ‘electronic eye’ and two buttons; the item is one of those excellent found objects appearing in television production converted for set use due to molded name brand information on the reverse. Finally a molded resin switch button bar painted metallic silver is present. The smallest item measures approx. 2.75 X 2.75 X 0.25 inches, the largest 13.25 X 9.25 inches. The lot contains 11 items, one is labeled ‘Outside Sickbay’ on the reverse having been removed carefully from a set wall prior to set strike.

The item appeared several more times in Star Trek: Voyager episodes as various alien computers. It is composed of two pieces, the base and the monitor. The base is a shaped acrylic painted metallic silver, with a rubber accent placed in the front, the sides are beveled, raised accents are present, and adhesive details are applied. Internal electronic elements are present and an externally mounted switch, none of which have been proven to function, capable of being powered by a 9volt battery lead. The monitor is constructed much the same way with no electronics and with a black acrylic ‘display screen’ with no visible display graphic. The items measure approx. 10.5 X 9.5 X 1.5 inches and 8.5 X 9.25 X 1.25 inches.
