STAR TREK IV: “ANDORIAN WIG AND ANTENNAE”
A special effects item appearing in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home for wear by an Andorian commodore. The item is a shaped white wig with a formed skull cap that houses electrical components necessary to make a pair of antennae move. The antennae are made from blue and white painted foam rubber with a bent wire frame inside that moves the antennae when the item is powered and the twin receivers on the front of the head piece hidden under the hair receive sound. That’s right, the antennae actually move due to the rotating wire within them when it picks up sound. The electronic motors in the head piece are powered by 2 C size 1.5volt batteries, one of the motors is no longer glued to the inner skull cap. The wig is holed in two places for the antennae to stick through. A switch on the back of the skullcap activates the electrical elements of the item. It is believed that this item was also featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Offspring” and perhaps in “Captain’s Holiday”.

STAR TREK: ENT “ENTERPRISE NX-01” BUTTON PANELS LOT”
An entire lot of eight different button panels featured in various episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise for use on the sets of the “Enterprise NX-01”. The lot consists of multiple differently sized rectangular acrylic panels that are beveled with graphical applications adhered to their front and white, black, and gray faux buttons made from rubber with numeric values on each. The buttons have been arranged in geometric patterns and their positions and ‘use’ on the panels are determined by the graphics they sit upon. The lot contains a molded resin keyboard style panel that is a darker gray than the rest of the lot. The others are acrylic and some recur frequently in the series. The communication panel is adorned with an iridescent white square meant to represent a speaker used for communicating with other parts of the ship and it features a blue gel dome adhered to it as an ‘electric eye’. The ‘1013 Aux’ panel appears frequently next to doors and variously on consoles as an access button for egress. The item inscribed ‘R25 SYS’ features a black panel with white buttons that actually depress, another features a metallic silver square with four black items presented for an unknown purpose; this item also has screw holes from its prior mounting to a set piece. The rest of the set is no less notable or interesting and in any configuration create a busy, exciting atmosphere. STAR TREK: “KLINGON COMPUTER INTERFACE DISPLAY”
A prop computer interface ‘screen’ like those appearing variously in Star Trek feature films and episodic television. The item is a piece of trapezoid shaped elongated smoked acrylic with a Klingon themed graphical application adhered to the reverse. The graphics are best seen when the item is back lit and depict a variety of Klingon character letters and multi colored triangle faux buttons. The graphic features a degree of liquid damage in a corner and at one end, and some of the graphic has been torn away in two places, but for Klingon items of this caliber, none of its aesthetic appeal has been lost. Measures approx. 15 X 12.25 inches at the top, 9.5 inches at the bottom. The item is believed to have appeared in the episode “Sleeping Dogs” of Star Trek: Enterprise where it would have been part of the set for the “IKS Somraw”.

The item has a slight curve to it, features pre, existing holes believed to have been placed there in the event that miniature lights were to be added to the item, and a degree of adhesive remains on the front due to time or storage conditions.
